Someone must have been telling lies about Josef K, he knew he’d done nothing wrong but, one morning, he was arrested.

Josef K has been accused of something but no one will tell him what. Despite the absence of an offence, K finds himself trapped in a trial that seems to have no logic or end. The courtrooms lurk inside every wall, and Joseph K is starting to lose sight of the outside world.

The elusive power of Franz Kafka’s writing is brought to the stage in a new adaptation by Louise Fox. Erotic, terrifying and often hilarious, this is the portrait of a young man who on his thirtieth birthday is forced awake to the ungraspable complexities of the world.
